We recommend using iCloud backups for saving and restoring Watchee data. If switching between devices, backup your iOS device and when you restore on a new device your complete Watchee data will be transferred, images and all.
You can also export your collection to a CSV file (all versions), and then import into WatcheePro. Most data is transferable, except for photos, service information, and accuracy test data.
Yes. The three apps are structurally different and their databases separate.
For example, you could use Watchee to keep track of sold watches or certain parts of your collection, while using WatcheePro for your main collection.
Select a watch and scroll down to “Wrist Stats Reset/Adjust” and tap “Reset/Adjust Wrist Stats.” Choose “Adjust wear count” and you will be able to set the number of times the watch has been worn. Choosing “Confirm wrist-stats reset” will set all watch wear stats to zero.
Watchee is currently available for iOS devices via the AppStore. We will soon be testing on macOS devices and we are considering developing for Android/cross-platform.
When you enter a watch brand and model, the remaining data is not automatically entered. No central database exists for watches. Such a database would be cool, but imagine maintaining that data! Watchee is not connected to any databases. The data is yours and only on your device.
No. All watch data is stored locally on your device, so an Internet connection is not required.
WatcheePro and Watchee allow an unlimited number of watches to be stored, while WatcheeLite is limited to three. However, if you have a large collection (50 or more), we recommend enabling image compression in the Settings for optimal performace.
We are watch enthusiasts who can write code…stuff happens.
